Rock Werchter is a multi-genre music festival in Belgium. Begun in 1974 as a one day musical celebration, the festival has steadily grown over the years and now covers four days. With a "for the people" attitude, an open atmosphere and an annual lineup of some of the biggest names in music, the festival has undoubtedly reached bucket list status.

How do I get to the festival?

BY PLANE: The nearest airport is Brussels Airport (BRU). Upon arrival take the train to Leuven (13 minutes). From here take the 333, 433, or 513 bus to Werchter De Brug (20 minutes). Signs to the festival entrance will be posted at this stop.

BY TRAIN: Leuven train station is accessible from most European cities but may require a transfer.

Are there age restrictions?

Rock Werchter does not have a minimum age and so everyone is welcome! But everyone at the festival must be in possession of a festival ticket, children included. There is no reduction for children.

We do not recommend that (young) children be brought to the festival grounds, as we do not provide children’s facilities, and because a music festival is not the ideal environment for children.

Are you ready for 20 new names for Rock Werchter 2025? On Thursday 3 July De La Soul, GLINTSAL, Nia Archives, Ezra Collective, Alessi Rose and Mother Mother are added to the bill. Weezer, Caribou, Warhaus, Arsenal, The Backseat Lovers, Dikke and Sylvie Kreusch are new for Friday 4 July. Performing on Sunday 6 July will be Pommelien Thijs, David Kushner, Shaboozey, Dasha, Wunderhorse, Bolis Pupul and Jokke!
